Today I Asked A Big Question
Today, I asked a big question, and my question was, why is it so important to be recognised?
I asked that question because of what Dr. Preston said about teachers not really caring about the students that answered the questions wrong, but mainly praised those who answered correctly, made me wonder. I wondered that the older I become, the more sensitive I am to answering incorrectly the questions many would ask me. I wanted to be recognised as the person with amazing thoughts and ideas, and not outcasted because I couldn't bring up that perfect idea someone else thought of that I couldn’t. I guess this would've answered the journal question from Thursday, but anyways... I know that while I am getting nearer to entering college, the bigger expectations I’d have to please and accomplish. I believe that those expectations are what makes it so important to be recognised because I feel that once someone congratulated me, or even a simple “good job”, (almost) all the heavy weight on my shoulders would be somewhat lifted.
