Literary Analysis 2

Title: Frostblood

Author: Elly Blake

Year Book Published: 2017

1. What drew me into this book was the title because somehow, my mind was curious as to how frost and blood connected. Which then led me into thinking about what personality and characteristic the main character would have just by judging from the title and how the book is designed. I expected and hoped to be completely attached to the characters of the book because I know that once that happens, finishing or reading the book would be less harder to  accomplish. Understanding the theme, plot, and characteristics of every single character is easier to know.

2. What kept me reading the past 10 pages was my curiosity as to how the main character, Ruby, and her family got into the awful situation, and why it was such a big deal for her to be a so called fireblood.

3. My reading habits are thinking ahead and writing or marking any parts of the book, I feel, should be remembered or are important. Thinking ahead would mean that I am barely reading the next line, yet, my mind is already wandering off into imagining future scenes of the book.
